     Music therapy is an established healthcare profession that uses music to address physical, emotional, cognitive, social, communicative, sensory, and spiritual needs of individuals of all ages.  Music can improve the quality of life for persons who are well and meet the needs of children and adults with disabilities or illnesses.
     Amy Recchia, MS Ed, MT-BC is a Special Education Teacher and Board-Certified Music Therapist offering over fifteen years of diverse experience working with children, adolescents and adults and seniors with and without various developmental disabilities and/or emotional/behavioral disorders in schools, colleges and other settings .
